Product Overview
UA RABI-LS Capsule is a powerful gastro-prokinetic and acid-suppressant combination designed to provide fast and long-lasting relief from acid reflux, heartburn, gastritis, GERD, and dyspepsia. It combines the acid inhibition of Rabeprazole with the prokinetic action of Levosulpiride, offering dual relief from both acid secretion and motility disorders.
Composition
- Rabeprazole Sodium – 20 mg (EC)
- Levosulpiride – 75 mg (SR)
Mechanism of Action
- Rabeprazole is a Proton Pump Inhibitor (PPI) that blocks gastric acid secretion by inhibiting the H⁺/K⁺ ATPase enzyme system of the gastric parietal cells, providing prolonged acid suppression.
- Levosulpiride is a Levo-enantiomer of Sulpiride, acting as a Dopamine D2 receptor antagonist with strong prokinetic and antiemetic properties. It enhances gastrointestinal motility, accelerates gastric emptying, and reduces symptoms of bloating, nausea, and fullness.
